Ethos is excited to announce Alwayo Barbara as their newest intern! Barbara, a passionate law student, brings a strong interest in social impact, particularly in the areas of gender equality and environmental sustainability.

“This internship promises to be a valuable learning experience for me as I embark on my legal career while contributing to a purpose-driven organization” says Barbara.

Why Ethos?

Barbara was immediately drawn to Ethos’ commitment to sustainability. “Ethos embodies the principles of sustainability by ensuring all their services are aligned with these goals in some way,” she remarked. Furthermore, Ethos being a woman-founded company actively involved in environmental initiatives solidified her decision to intern there.

First Day Jitters?

Starting a new position can be daunting, and Barbara admits to feeling a bit anxious on her first day. However, those nerves quickly dissipated thanks to the welcoming and relatable Ethos team.

Right from the Start

Ethos prioritizes a smooth onboarding process for all new interns. Barbara received a comprehensive orientation, and both she and Ethos set clear expectations. Ethos, a woman-led entity, is committed to equipping Barbara with the skills she needs to pursue her passions. This includes learning how to integrate environmentally friendly and socially conscious principles into her daily work. She will also have ample opportunities to learn and network within the company. She will also be provided with the opportunities that call for application of her legal knowledge. Throughout her internship, Barbara will be guided by Ethos’ Founder, Ms Peace, who will also serve as her personal mentor.
