Kampala, Uganda – June 27, 2024
Ethos was proud to participate in the MSME Day celebrations organized by Sustainable Business for Uganda Platform (SB4U) at the Imperial Royale Hotel on June 27th. This annual event recognizes the crucial role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in driving Uganda’s economy and progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event was graced by the presence of the Honourable Betty Amongi Akena, Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development. She highlighted government initiatives supporting Ugandan MSMEs.
Showcasing Sustainability and Collaboration:
The event provided a valuable platform for Ethos to:
- Exhibit alongside other businesses: We showcased our range of services and how we deliver them with a focus on sustainability, including virtual registrations, QR code checkins and reduced materials waste during events.
- Differentiate ourselves: Ethos highlighted its unique approach and commitment to environmental and social responsibility, setting us apart as women-led and proponents of SDGs 5, 9 and 12.
- Learn and collaborate: We connected with other business owners, exchanging experiences and exploring potential partnerships.
Valuable Connections and Looking Forward:
The SB4U Day celebrations proved to be a successful event for Ethos.
We actively participated in building valuable partnerships, sharing best practices, and showcasing our commitment to sustainable business solutions. We look forward to continued collaboration within Uganda’s vibrant MSME community.
